In-person training · New Zealand

The Claude training series

Most teams get an AI licence and very little else. This is the part that follows — a practical, in-person course that takes your people from a first prompt to working automations, using your own work as the material.

Six sessions, delivered on site, one hour at a time. Every session ends with something each person has actually built.

The problem

Access is not adoption

Rollouts stall for the same three reasons: people use AI as a search box, nobody has time to work out what it's good for, and the staff who do experiment end up on personal accounts with company information in them.

This series is designed to fix all three at once — capability, useful habits, and safe-use ground rules taught together, in the room, with your own work in front of you.

The series

Five sessions that build on each other

Each one adds a capability and ends with a hands-on exercise on a real task from the participant's own week.

Session 160 min

Foundations and prompting

How Claude actually works, the five parts of a good prompt, and before-and-after examples. Day-one wins by department, and the safe-use habits everyone starts with.

Exercise · Prompt a real task twice and compare

Session 260 min

Projects

Stop re-explaining context every chat. Project instructions and knowledge files, what belongs in them and what stays out, and when a Project beats a one-off chat.

Exercise · Build a working Project for your role

Session 360 min

Connectors

Grounding answers in live business data — files, email, CRM, ERP and reporting. Includes the security model: Claude sees what the person already has access to, and nothing more.

Exercise · Map your top lookups to connectors

Session 460 min

Skills

For anyone who has pasted the same prompt three times. Turning repeated work into reusable skills — SOPs Claude follows on its own — and knowing when to use a prompt, a Project or a skill.

Exercise · Draft your first skill

Session 560 min

Cowork and automation

From answers to finished work: Claude working in your real files, scheduled tasks, and an end-to-end month-end example. Closes with governance and a 30/60/90-day plan.

Exercise · Design your first automation

Bonus60 min

Advanced techniques

For the people who finish the five and want more. Chaining skills into longer processes, working with long documents, building a shared prompt library, and knowing when to call in technical help.

Exercise · Apply two techniques to your own work

How it runs

Four stages, from first conversation to sustained use

  1. Stage 1

    Understand

A short conversation about your team, systems and where work gets stuck

  2. Stage 2

    Align

We shape the six sessions around your examples and agree dates

  3. Stage 3

    Implement

Sessions run on site, each ending with something built

  4. Stage 4

    Improve

Guides and exercise sheets stay with you so the practice continues

Delivered in person

Sessions run on site with your team in the room, on your own systems and examples. Remote delivery can be arranged where a site visit isn't practical.

Beyond the series

Sessions for leaders and specific teams

Standalone sessions that can run alongside the series or on their own — for the people deciding, and for the teams with a particular job to do.

Meet Claude — for senior leaders

What makes Claude a business tool rather than a chatbot, with quick wins across operations and admin.

30 min

Managing the real risks

Data leakage, hallucination, privacy, IP and over-reliance — and why shadow AI is the biggest risk of the five. For boards and executive teams.

15 min

Plans, pricing and billing

Free, Pro, Team and Enterprise in plain English, with a worked seat mix so you can choose a plan on evidence.

30 min

Department deep-dives

Finance, marketing, customer service and office administration — built around the systems that team already uses.

30 min each

Change management and AI champions

Why rollouts stall, how to build a champion network, and a 90-day adoption calendar. For whoever owns adoption.

40 min

Train the trainer

So the series keeps running after we leave — how to deliver each session, adapt it, and handle the hard questions.

Let's work out what your team needs

Tell us the size of your team, the systems you run on, and what you're hoping people will be able to do differently. We'll shape the series around it and confirm dates.
